Champagne Drip has kept his or her identity anonymous since emerging on the scene five months ago, but what remains evident is that the producer is excessively talented. “Modern Love” is absolutely no exception to this fact.

The mysterious individual has gone ahead and covered a David Bowie song. Yes, David freaking Bowie. Champagne Drip took a 1980s classic and matched retro synths with tropical glitch hop and synth pop to create a completely reworked “drip hop” exclusive. With talented newcomer Haley Larson on vocals and legendary Sergio Flores (Sexy Sax Man) on sax, it’s a collaborative success.

“Modern Love” will continue to set the stage that Champagne Drip is building in record time and is out now as a free download through Diplo’s well-respected label, Mad Decent.
