“Unique and positive clothes that make women feel happy, bold and fearless” are my favorite type of clothes, so it should come as no surprise that I’m obsessed with Londoner Clio Peppiatt’s latest collection.
The eponymous brand launched in 2014 and has turned heads with its intoxicating prints, vivid colors and “tongue-in-cheek” aesthetic. Exploring modern ideas of femininity and what it means to be a youth in today’s society, Peppiatt excels with her spring summer lookbook. If sequins, pastels and cute prints aren’t your cup of tea then look away. Major ’70s mermaid vibes are present as well as a creepy Easter bunny à la Donnie Darko. If your eyes lit up at the mention of anything listed above then don’t hesitate to check out Peppiatt’s work, but be warned—it’s hard to not want everything.
