Having just won the accolade of Best Newcomer DJ at this year’s Bass Music Awards, it’s clear that there is something pretty special about London house artist DubRocca. After making several high profile remixes and some tasty originals in the last few months, he has just scored a release with Ultra Music, making a rework of Kideko’s “The Jam.”

He takes the original, which brings in vocals from Technotronic’s “Pump Up The Jam”, and truly makes it his own. Layering on a seriously smooth yet bassy overtone and adding in cleanly cut riff patterns that support those instantly recognisable vocals, DubRocca shows his credibility as a remixer here.

This one is out now – you can bag a copy here.
