British pop-rock band, Coldplay, are scheduled to headline the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show. Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7, 2016 at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.

Being chosen to perform at this highly-anticipated sports event is a big moment for any musician’s career. Pepsi has been sponsoring the NFL’s Super Bowl Halftime Shows for the last three years and has been known for always putting on big, unforgettable productions. Recent halftime headliners have included Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Beyoncé.

This year beginning January 11, Pepsi is providing fans with behind-the-scenes access to see how this iconic show comes to life in a digital mini-series called “Pepsi Presents: The Super Bowl Halftime Show Show.” In this series fans will be able to see the creative processes of the seven-time Grammy Award-winning band Coldplay as they design their stage and show and prepare for America’s favorite sports event.
