Electronic music maestro Mr. Shiba is back with another groundbreaking track.

Over two years in the making, “Out of My Hands” is a collaboration between Mr. Shiba and Wees, who began writing the track together in 2013. Due to creative differences between the producers, they decided to keep their monikers and their music separate at the time, but a tragic diagnosis would eventually change that.

Just a year after taking a break from music together, Wees was diagnosed with the debilitating disease, ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The diagnosis sent Wees into a tailspin, putting his career as a DJ on an indefinite hold. Mr. Shiba and Wees later decided to put their creative differences aside in order to finish the track they started together.

“Out of My Hands” features alluring vocals from Lokka Vox and is five minutes of pure musical pleasure. With a retro feel reminiscent of dance music from back in the day, “Out of My Hands” is the quintessential example of the magic that can happen when two creative minds come together.

“Out of My Hands” will be released through Stereo Statik exclusively on Beatport on December 22 and will be released on other retailers on January 4. All royalties for the track will be donated to HopeNOWforALS.org.
