The more music festivals, the merrier. It was just recently announced that Goldenvoice, the event producer masterminds behind the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, have set up a new festival called “Panorama” that will take place at New York City’s Randall’s Island Park from July 22-24. That’s right, a New York City Coachella is upon us.
Dubbed Panorama after the creation of nearly 10,000 square foot-to-scale model of New York City found in the Queens Museum, the music festival is being advertised as “three days of music, art, technology and local food options.” Mark Shulman, a festival producer at Goldenvoice, is eagerly looking forward to this fun-filled, three-day event.
“We look forward to bringing Panorama to New York City and introducing a new festival that showcases today’s top music acts,” Shulman said. “We’re committed to creating an event that will provide significant benefits to New York City with the level of experience and meticulous attention to detail for which Goldenvoice is known.”
Music fans everywhere are already buzzing about the possible lineup for Panorama and since it’s being run by the producers behind Coachella, nothing less than epic should be expected.
