Most of us know, and some of us love, the techno anthem that is “Sandstorm” by Darude. Well someone loves it a little too much, and just created a petition to make it our country’s national anthem.

Kyle Tucker has already received over 4,000 votes on his petition to make “Sandstorm” our country’s anthem and early supporters include a staff editor at Ars Technica and a features editor for VICE/Thump.

Would we have world-renowned singers humming along to “Sandstorm” at the beginning of football games? Would we all take our hats off to salute Darude instead of The Star Spangled Banner?

If you stand with Kyle Tucker on this issue, you can show your support by signing the petition here. Darude has yet to comment.

“Our national anthem is outdated and stale. Changing it to Darude – Sandstorm will ensure our country is elevated in the modern age. Let’s make America great again.” – Kyle Tucker
