UK based electronic collective Submotion Orchestra have just brought their fourth album to Counter Records, and we can confirm it’s another divine collection of sounds. Turning their attention back to producing after a hiatus to focus on live shows, the seven members of the group once again showcase their individual strengths with “Colour Theory.”

Combining nifty production qualities and soul-drenched songwriting, this LP features some collaborative gems for good measure. Our favourite has to be “Red Dress” ft. singer Ruby Wood, although the subtle and gently bubbling “Needs” ft. Andrew Ashong is a close second.

Atmospheric, emotional and downright dreamy at time, “Colour Theory” is an essential purchase. Get it here.
