Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival will be returning to Seattle, Washington for its 46th year on Labor Day Weekend. This year’s lineup is stacked, featuring music from multiple genres. Headliners include Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kygo, Pretty Lights, Death Cab For Cutie, DJ Snake, and G-Eazy.
The event will take place September 2-4 in Seattle Center, beneath the Space Needle. Below are some artists to look out for at Bumbershoot–you won’t want to miss them.
1. Porter Robinson
Porter Robinson, an electronic music producer and DJ, has produced multiple No. 1 singles across many electronic genres. His set at Bumbershoot will be a part of his “Worlds” Live Tour, which is his first tour as a live performer.
His shows are designed in collaboration with music technologist and artist ALLUXE, who has worked with Kanye West and Drake. The shows they produce are surreal and definitely not something you want to miss.
2. Tame Impala
Australian psychedelic rock band Tame Impala was founded by Kevin Parker in 2007. Their music puts listeners into a trance-like state, featuring deep synths and incredible vocals. Attendees of their live shows report amazing vibes and awesome music.
Tame Impala will be performing at Bumbershoot as a part of their 2016 tour, which includes only a few stops in the States.
3. Bob Moses
Bob Moses is a Canadian electronic music duo consisting of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance. Their music incorporates live instruments and sultry vocals with chill electronic beats, similar to that of Disclosure. They dropped their debut album, Days Gone By, in 2015 and have been gaining popularity rapidly ever since.
The duo will be joining Bumbershoot as a part of their “Days Gone By” tour.
Mysterious masked DJ Marshmello has been getting a lot of attention lately due to his spectacular performance at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas. His set produced one of the largest crowds the event has ever seen. Known for his trademark white helmet and all white outfit, Marshmello never fails to deliver hard-hitting, glitchy beats.
5. Jai Wolf
Jai Wolf is an up and coming DJ from Bangladesh. His music incorporates progressive house with traditional music from Bangladesh, resulting in something truly magical. Wolf is also a member of the Foreign Family Collective. Foreign Family Collective is a music and visual art platform created by electronic music duo ODESZA. If you are a fan of ODESSA’s music, then you are sure to fall in love with Jai Wolf.
Just recently, Wolf dropped his new single, “Drive,” which features a smooth bassline and an uplifting vocal loop. He will be performing at Bumbershoot as a part of his “Somewhere In A Forest” tour.
