Of the roughly 67,000 attendees to spend the weekend at Insomniac’s Nocturnal Wonderland, over 400 were arrested over the festival’s three days, which is a significant increase from last year’s 300 arrests.

According to the San Bernardino Sun, 428 individuals were arrested and 5 were hospitalized throughout the weekend.

“This year, Insomniac brought more live electronic acts to the festival stage than ever before, delighting festivalgoers with dynamic performances from the likes of Chromeo, Odesza, Keys N Krates, Hermitude, Gryffin, and more,” an Insomniac promoter commented. “In addition to the many chill zones and shaded areas scattered across the festival grounds, the Insomniac Consciousness Group provided a sober sanctuary for fans to come together for positivity, support and discussion.”

A majority of the arrests were drug and alcohol related, although attendees were also taken into custody for trespassing, assault and battery, resisting arrest, indecent exposure, and being underage. One attendee was even arrested for DUI after crashing into a marked motor unit working the event, according to officials.

Two people were hospitalization for drug-related issues, but treated and released the same day, one person was hospitalized after an assault, and the reason for the two other hospitalizations have not been released.

Stay safe, ravers.
