You know when you find an incredible artist that you want to share with everyone, but also keep to yourself, because they’re that good? That’s how I feel about Tyzo Bloom.
He sent me over his brand new original, “Ukiyo,” and I just had to check out the rest of his discography. With sparkly synths, organic drums, and expert vocal chops that only add to the emotionality of the song, it’s evident with “Ukiyo” that Tyzo Bloom is no ordinary producer.
Bloom blends indie elements with electronic music in a way that’s hard to describe as one specific genre. He’s a pro with vocal cuts, instrumentation, track arrangement, and creativity. His SoundCloud is only 2 months old, but I refuse to believe that he’s only been putting in work for that short of a time.
Tyzo Bloom is the alias of 25-year old LA based producer and songwriter Casey Chen, who is influenced by Odesza, indie pop, and soul. We can’t wait to hear more.
