Toronto’s very own Autoerotique has done it again with relentless low frequency breakdowns in his bass house track, “Run For Cover.” The track came out via Dim Mak Records; it’s dirty, grimy, and the first to be released from his forthcoming Darker Things EP.

Autoerotique blasted off 2016 with a 3-track EP Kids Don’t Care, which topped the Beatport charts with hit single “AUH.” This Song Is Sick dubbed the single as a “dirty dance-floor hit,” leading the artist into an epic team-up with Major Lazer for “The Sound,” which received heavy support from the likes of Skrillex, Dillion Francis, Martin Garrix, Zeds Dead and more. Electronic dance music’s very own model, Calvin Harris, even dropped the single at Coachella.

Wrapping up an exhaustive summer, Autoerotique joined forces with Steve Aoki to produce “ILYSM,”  made an apperance on MTV’s Wonderland series, and toured feverishly. Autoerotique appears to be gaining some serious momentum as he prepares to release his next EP, Darker Things, on November 18th.

If you aren’t itching to download it just yet, check out what This Song Slaps had to say about “Run For Cover”: “This monstrous freebie is a bass house tune that features a lethal dose of his signature production style and it’s a true teaser of what’s to come.”
