4. Tomorrowland

To attend this event has been a dream of mine for years, and I know for a fact I’m not alone in this one. Located in a faraway land of Belgium, Tomorrowland prides themselves in unity, one world, and diversity. How much better could the vibes get? With stage installations like you’ve never seen before in your life, you will feel like you were transported to another dimension. The lineup doesn’t do this event any justice, so just check out the aftermovie and get excited for next year!

3. Shambhala Festival

If you didn’t know already, Shambhala, in Buddhist and Hindu religions, is a mythical kingdom. But if you’re a rave baby, then you’ll also know that Shambhala is one of the most trippy and cool events you’ll ever find! It is one of the more unique festivals you’ll attend, as they don’t take any corporate sponsorship and promote individuality and safety. At this year’s Shambhala, they offered a place to test any recreational drugs that may have been brought into the event. This is something that needs to be a constant worldwide! If you’re really trying to take a trip, then this Canadian festival will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you like more of an underground sound, you’ll really appreciate that Josh Pan, Sam Gellaitry and Keys N Krates came to slay. Check out the 20th annual Shambhala this year and see our photos from 2016 here.

2. Lollapalooza 2016

Next up is the much anticipated festival of the year. Lollapalooza Music Festival started in 1991 and hasn’t disappointed since. With eight stages and over 170 acts performing, you’ll be super busy in good ol’ Chicago. Lolla has always been proud of the food they bring, and what would a festival be without the best food in town to give you the energy that you’ll truly need? All their food stands from “Chi Town” will totally blow you away. Something else that’s cool about Lolla is that for cultured and informed folk, they have booths with different local charity organizations to help you get involved! With artists like G-Eazy, Lana Del Rey, and Future, you’re obviously going to need to get tickets for next year’s event.

1. Coachella

Of course, our top festival has to be Coachella. This festival compiles all the raves and festivals out there into one event. There are beautiful art installations, huge tents holding the best laser shows you’ll ever see, and don’t forget about the iconic Coachella watermelon. As it’s always around 105 degrees for ‘Chella, the watermelon will seriously bring you back to life. If you missed this year’s extravaganza, we were lucky to enough to get Calvin Harris, M83, A$AP Rocky, and Jack Ü. Although there’s a bit of time before the next Coachella comes around, trust that it’ll be well worth the wait.
