The young and super talented DJ/Musician/producer, Madsonik, has been making his musical transition from big screen to the stages. The award-winning DJ has had his epic soundtracks featured in trailers for numerous box-office blockbusters like Avengers: Age of Ultron, Furious 7, Iron Man 3 and the upcoming Furious 8: The Fate of the Furious as well as the iconic games like Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty.

Madsonik’s recent work comes with the latest release of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, in which its soundtrack comprises of two of his singles. First there’s the hands-in-the-air dancefloor killer “Take It to the Top,” which takes audiences on a ride that’s driven with rapid, energized rhythm and edgy synths. The second featured single “Divebomb” is a collaboration with Kill The Noise and Tom Morello. The track is a slamming hybrid of skanking tropical riddims, insistent big-room beats, raw rock and roll attitude, and Tyler’s signature cinematic atmosphere.

“Divebomb” is a collaboration with his good friends Kill The Noise and Rage Against The Machine guitar groundbreaker/fellow Harvard alum Tom Morello. “Divebomb” and “Take it to the Top” are especially meaningful to Madsonik as they mark the beginning of the producer’s transition from scoring for major movies to performing for major crowds.

“The crossover process from working on film scores to electronic music is really interesting creatively for me. On one hand, the differences between composing for an orchestra and laying down beats may seem massive but both forms of music strive to achieve the same thing – transporting the listener to another place emotionally and making something sonically exciting and memorable,” said Madsonik.

Madsonik also kills it live behind the wheels of steel. He’s opened for acts like Dillon Francis and has toured with good friend Kill The Noise. He’s also played Hard Summer’s main stage along with artists such as KTN, Boombox Cartel and Team EZY.
