Dirty Audio, known for his heavy hitting remixes, has been selected to produce the official remix for Afrojack and Fais’ hit title “Used to Have It All.” Released on Wall Recordings, the Los Angeles native takes Afrojack and Fais’ classic club original and applies his expertise tastemaking skills to turn the house track into an undeniably dirty dubstep number.
Dirty Audio’s rendition of “Used to Have It All” is dripping with his signature style, complete with stabbing electro synths and damaging drops. Dirty Audio completely opens the door on this track for fans who aren’t as into emotional vocals and groovy deep house vibes as the rest of us. Dirty Audio’s remix of “Used to Have It All” is something fans would expect to see on the festival circuit this summer, perhaps at EDC’s Basspod, where speakers strain under the weight of bass.
The track is particularly special for Dirty Audio. Afrojack was the first DJ that Dirty Audio ever saw live. According to Dirty Audio’s team, the experience had a great influence on his aspirations to become a producer himself.
But Afrojack isn’t the only big-name artist that Dirty Audio has worked with as of late. Dirty Audio has gained support from artists such as Diplo, Deorro, Carnage, UZ, Adventure Club, Krewella, Dillion Francis, and many more due to his innate ability to fuse electronic elements with hip-hop. Dirty Audio recently dropped remixes of Yellow Claw’s “Ocho Cinco,” and created an original production with Max Styler on “Roller Coaster.”
Rumor has it Dirty Audio has a collaboration with none other than Bro Safari in the works. We have our fingers crossed.
