Gorillaz, who have not performed in the UK in nearly seven years, just announced their return to the festival circuit. The group will perform live for the first time in nearly five years at their very own festival for the first installment of Demon Dayz.

The British virtual band consists of four animated members: 2D (lead vocals, keyboard), Murdoc Niccals (bass guitar, vocals), Noodle (guitar, keyboard, and backing vocals) and Russel Hobbs (drums and percussion).

Gorillaz, formed back in 1998 by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, recently confirmed the completion of their forthcoming album. And now, you can catch Gorillaz live on June 10th during the launch of Demon Dayz, set at the Dreamland Amusement Park in Margate (United Kingdom). Demon Dayz promises to have an “eclectic” line up, which is yet to be announced.
