Neo Noir brings a magnetic and nostalgic sound to Lowly Palace with the one of the label’s newest releases.
The fresh-faced LA duo gets dark and melodic with “When I Was Young,” an original single that features a haunting chord progression, beautiful vocals from Brooke Williams, and sweltering bass. The track builds up beautifully, only to break down into a stunning furor of future bass chords and echoed vocal cuts.
Neo Noir is a new production team based out of Los Angeles, Calif. “When I Was Young” (feat. Brooke Williams) is their first major release and follows a stunning remix of “SOAP” by Melanie Martinez. Brooke Williams is a Hollywood-based vocalist that sees her first label signing with “When I Was Young.”
