With Detroit’s Movement Festival vastly approaching, it only seems appropriate that Miami receives a little taste of their finest DJs.
For those of us that will not be able to attend Movement, our gloomy skies have cleared up a bit. On April 22, the legendary, magnificent, and downright funky, Robert Hood will be mentally and acoustically guiding us to Detroit.
Robert Hood, aka Floorplan, will be playing in Miami’s famous Club Space terrace–a massive compound nestled in downtown, where 15+ hour shows are the norm and a cafecito is a must. Joining Robert that evening will be Ambivalent, an American DJ who has made a presence with his releases on Cocoon Recordings, Mobilee, and Ovum.
Hood has been a major contributor to the Detroit techno scene and has helped put techno and minimal techno on the map. Robert founded M-Plant records and his passion for music and touring has never faded. Miami looks forward to welcome yet another legend.
