Quality Goods Records really are living up to their name right now, and they have just put out another killer release. This one sits as the debut EP from California-based artist sumthin sumthin, who has created four tracks under the Afterglow collection.

With an intense energy to his productions, each track here offers up something totally unique. It kicks off with “Lotus,” an 808-heavy tune that is given real rhythmical focus–the perfect introduction to the set. “Pink” is the gorgeous, electronica-inspired tune up next, and its off-beat melody and barely there snippets of vocals make for a fantastic listen.

The busy “Hollow” comes as No. 3, with drawn out chord work and contradicting shuffles of rhythm, before “Moves” closes the EP. This one is a collaborative effort between sumthin sumthin and Snowy, and the addition of vocals means this one is lively and driven, with real bite.
