Folks like myself, that have a particular taste for house music, along with the consistent bass music tracks that come out of Skrillex’s OWSLA label, must have been hyped when the HOWSLA compilation was announced. Over the entirety of 2017 so far, the compilation has brought us unforgettable bangers like Chris Lake’s “I Want You” and “Operator,” and JOYRYDE’s “New Breed,” all of which I’ve been hearing in a ton of live sets lately.

Today marks the end of the HOWSLA compilation, and what’s a better way to send it off than a huge bass house track by the don, Skrillex, and Never Say Die regular, Habstrakt? “Chicken Soup” is the name of the track, and you may have heard it if you caught Skrillex’s surprise set at Coachella a couple weeks ago.

The track is equal parts heavy and groovy, inducing an urge to spring you off your couch to learn how to shuffle and headbang at the same time. If you’re bumping this in your car, throw your seatbelt on and try and resist the urge to slam the pedal to the floor.

Check out the heater of a track below, along with the rest of the HOWSLA compilation here.
