III Points will be letting their attendees become extraterrestrials with their new addition, Mars 2030. Mars 2030 is a virtual reality project by Fusion Media Network. They used a partnership with NASA to create a typical day on the Red Planet.
III Points is built on the pillars of music, art, and technology and Mars 2030 seems to be structured by all three. The virtual reality serves as the art, while unfathomed technology will bring Mars 2030 to a reality. Accompanying the addition will be a musical composition by the London Symphony Orchestra.
“We been working for four years to truly merge the three elements of music, art, and technology in our festival, and this year’s Mars 2030 installation really is our best example of all the three points in perfect synchronicity,” David Sinopoli, co-founder of III Points, said in a statement.
III Points will be from October 7-9 in Miami. Single-day passes cost $70, and a three-day pass costs $125. Visit iiipoints.com.
