Fresh off her recent guest mixes for Sway in the Morning on SiriusXM and Diplo & Friends on BBC Radio 1EXTRA, Uniiqu3 teams up with fellow New Jersey native Yungkiidd (also known as YK) on “Trunk,” a hard-hitting track that is everything we love about Jersey club music. The pair have worked together before, delivering a killer remix of Skepta’s “Man” last year, and show no signs of slowing down. Their chemistry is unmistakable as they trade verses on the new co-produced original, which is featured on Nina Las Vegas’s NLV Records.

The track opens with a classic breakbeat sample, and is soon followed by a playful and suggestive Uniiqu3 verse over deep, resonating bass. The chorus is accentuated with vocals by Yungkiidd as he claims that a shapely woman is “banging like some bass in the trunk,” while a tight club kick pattern and bouncing low-end are sure to make your speakers knock. Club music is on the rise again, and with multi-talented artists like Uniiqu3 and Yungkiidd leading the way, maybe it will finally get the popular recognition it deserves.

isten to the record below, and be sure to check them out live this summer if you get the chance.
