Grammy-nominated production duo Galantis went bright and bold with their newest release, a visual accompaniment to their smash hit “Hunter,” out now on Big Beat Records.

The music video follows a tribal dystopian theme featuring vividly clad hunters and shamans, decked out in intricate feathered masks and costumes. The visuals masterfully blend technology with ancient garb, adding an interesting time-suspending affect. Are we watching events transpire from the future or the past, or from a strange and different world entirely? The video follows the adventure of feathered medicine man, out on a quest to retrieve the elixir that will cure his or her fallen friend. The work features cameos from Galantis’ own Christian Karlsson (aka Bloodshy, one-third of Miike Snow) and Linus Eklöw (aka Style of Eye) and concludes triumphantly with an intense ritualistic battle-dance.

The video is as colorful and dazzling as the song is addictive and entrancing. “Hunter” snagged Galantis’ highest streaming debut to date, racking up over 1.2 million domestic streams in its first week. The track has since accoumulated over 25 million streams on Spotify alone since its release in May. Galantis was nominated this year for three P3 Gold Awards in their native Sweden, winning “Best Dance Act.” Additionally, the duo won “Producer of the Year” at this year’s SKAP Awards, and “No Money” was nominated for “Song of the Year” at the 2017 Swedish Grammis Awards.
