The Dirtybird Campout lineup brings some of the best tech-house DJs in the states to Bradley, California this year with the announcement of their 2017 lineup. In just under three months, house fans all around the country will flock to central California to dance their hearts out for three days straight, as well as participate in nostalgic summer camp activities like kickball, tug-of-war, arts & crafts, and more.
If you’re just the casual house-head, then there’s no doubt you’ll recognize names like Claude VonStroke (the Dirtybird don), Justin Martin, and perhaps Shiba San. I’m here to tell you, however, that this lineup is chock-full of amazing talent; Chris Lorenzo, Desert Hearts (Mikey Lion & Porkchop), Eats Everything, Sacha Robotti, and Walker & Royce are just a few names that stand out.
Obviously, three days of straight tech-house may be a little overwhelming to some, so Barclay Crenshaw and the gang have enlisted some really dope artists to switch things up a bit. You’ll be able to get even weirder with names like SHADES (Alix Perez & EPROM), Tennyson, kLL sMTH, Mija, and Netsky.
If you’re like many people who are being swept up by the Dirtybird craze that’s flying across the nation, then this festival is definitely for you. Even if you are just kinda starting to like house music, I would recommend this one. Hell, even if you know nothing about house music, I would still attend. The dudes and gals over at Dirtybird have made a career out of having an incredible time. It’s also inspiring to check out how Dirtybird went from small, renegade parties in Golden Gate Park, to the official Dirtybird BBQs, to taking over curated festival stages, to throwing their own camping festival. There’s a great mini-documentary that covers that exact journey that you can watch right here.
