Bass fans might be a little disappointed when they hear that their favorite producer came out with a non-bass track. Skrillex has been dabbling in almost every music genre this year, such as his latest remix for “Humble” by Kendrick Lamar, but now he dropped one of his most unique tracks yet.
Skrillex teamed up with Sirah for a new release called “Deadbeat,” making it one of his most interesting collaborations to date. The track has a plucky Renaissance feel that makes you think Romeo + Juliet. The hook is strong with eerie synths featuring vocals by Sirah throughout the track.
Sirah and Skrillex have collaborated on various tracks in the past such as “Kyoto” and “Bangarang,” and now “Deadbeat” offers a hip-hop beat for the singer’s flawless vocals.
