The dynamic music duo, Bonnie X Clyde, hit the dance music radar in 2015 with their debut track “The Ride,” followed up by their hit single “Rise Above.” Their most recognized song, “Bass Jam,” landed at the top of the Sirius XM BPM charts as the No. 1 “Beat of the Week” for five weeks straight.
The Miami-native producers recently released their spin of Adventure Club’s “Gold,” which they got to perform with the Canadian duo during Miami Music Week 2017. Bonnie X Clyde have mastered the formula for creating great bass music that is emotional and will get you dancing at the same time. Through their unique stylings, Insomniac Records took notice of the duo and signed them a deal that officially welcomed them into the dance music scene.
Now, Bonnie X Clyde continue their legacy with a brand new track called “Torn,” featuring PURGE, which features their signature “vocal bass” Bonnie’s beautiful voice with melodic basslines. The emotional track sends a message about humanity and fighting against social anxiety and “fitting in,” while trying to overcome those feelings and being free to just be yourself.
“We all deal with the feeling of being torn in some way or another,” said Bonnie X Clyde of the new track. “‘Torn’ is about expressing your true, raw feelings and coming to terms with them…and understanding it’s ok to need help and to not be ok all the time.”
Purge’s haunting, genre-bending sound is a great compliment to Bonnie X Clyde’s music, giving this track the perfect bass vibe.
“Torn” is now available on Insomniac Records.
