After many successful years of producing, DJing and even signing other popular talent, such as Zedd and Porter Robinson on his Big Fish label, legendary artist Lazy Rich is now announcing his retirement.

Lazy Rich has been known for many popular releases, such as “We Are” with Mord Fustang, “Damage Control,” “Brainfreeze,” and “Get Out,” along with hot collaborations with Lady Gaga, Avicii, Fatboy Slim, deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Morgan Page and more.

Earlier today, the Canadian producer tweeted that he is officially going to retire at the end of the year, and mentioned that he is available for New Year’s Eve as his last gig ever. Fans began to question his motives, but not only does he create music, he is also the CEO of the popular music distributor Label Engine and CTO of Create Music.

Lazy Rich stated that “gigs just dried up,” therefore he decided to focus his attention on other areas within the music industry. He also admitted that he wants to just focus on his wife and kid.
