Legendary bass maestro Datsik returns to take names and slay dance floors on his latest Master of Shadows EP, and it is quite possibly his finest piece of work yet.

The EP is chockfull of the next generation bass bombs that the Canadian has become famous for and, as always, he has some surprises up his sleeve in the form of massive collaborations and an ever-evolving sound. One such standout is the EP’s opening track, “Pressure Plates,” a triumphant, thrilling journey that is expertly balanced with a throbbing bass line and his trademark wobbles. Datsik gives us a strong dose of his signature rap-and-bass fusion on “Bad Behavior” and “You’ve Changed,” both of which feature show-stopping rap lyricism and bass lines that were made for the festival stage.

The EP features both new talent and familiar names, including Virtual Riot, Ganja White Night, Excision and Dion Timmer, and more.
