Toronto native Robotaki, aka Preston Chin, partnered up with Nevve to release his newest electronic pop track, “Together We’re Screwed.” After going viral with his debut single “Ghostboy” featuring Claire Ridgely, which came in at No. 1 on Spotify’s viral playlist, No. 4 on Billboard Dance and No. 6 on Spotify US, the EDM producer charged into the spotlight and has been recognized for his impeccable sounds. This newest track follows a massive 2017 for Robotaki, which included 10 million Spotify streams and multiple tour date sellouts on a co-headlining tour with Manilla Killa.

As the artist’s first release of 2018, “Together We’re Screwed” aims to continue Preston Chin’s quest to bring a powerful new take on funk and disco to EDM, bringing people together through upbeat dance music with his forward-thinking sounds. Its standout vocals from Nevve blend seamlessly with the production of synths, guitar, and an energetic dance bassline to create a song as suited for radio play as it is for a crowd-pleasing live set.

According to Robotaki himself, “This song started as a remix but I loved the instrumental so much I wanted to keep it. We tried singer after singer but nothing clicked. One day Nevve sent over some ideas, and with her voice, it instantly clicked. To me, the dynamic across the lows and highs in this track reflect the complexities of love, the tribulations of lust, and everything that falls in between.” Take a listen to the addicting track below to hear what all the hype is about. It doesn’t disappoint!
