Staten Island native ZAXX has put out the genre-fluid track “Belong“; Greg Zaccagnino’s (ZAXX) fantasia weds indietronica and electronic body music (EBM), with a grandiose Arcade Fire finale. The 20-year-old producer has KSHMR, Riggi & Piros, Kennedy Jones and Tiff Lacey joint efforts under his belt. All the while, Tiësto‘s record company Musical Freedom endorsed ZAXX singles “Dazzle,” “Alpha” and “Phunky.” His official adaptation of The Chainsmokers’ smash hit “Roses” accrued over 22 million Spotify listens.

“‘Belong’ is a track that hits really close to home for me,” said Zaccagnino. “I wrote and sang it when I wasn’t sure of my direction or where I belonged musically. Out of that came a record that is really personal and special in my eyes. From the vocal, to the bass line, to the big emotional section at the end, I feel like it is a great example of where my music is headed.”
