As festival season begins to greet all of us this March, so does its eye-catching lineups, colorful wristbands and now, an attempt at a Guinness World Record. Lost Lands Festival, put on in Thornville, Ohio, and presented by well-known Canadian DJ and producer Excision, will attempt to break the current world record for “Most people headbanging simultaneously” when the festival returns this September. The current record is 320 people, a number that everyone at the festival is confident they can break.

“Alright everyone the moment of truth,” Kaleb Davis said via a Facebook post. “I don’t know if you remember but 3 months ago I made a post about how I entered Lost Lands in the Guinness Book of World Records for the ‘Most people headbanging simultaneously’ well…we did it! And let’s fucking destroy this record.”

As a festival known for its more hardcore electronic lineups, boasting artists such as Zeds Dead, Slander, Snails and REZZ in the past, this crowd is sure to give the record a run for its money. Be on the lookout for the 2018 lineup dropping in the next few months and check out the official email from Guinness below.
