If good things come to those who wait, procrastination mustn’t be all that bad. Just ask the Desert Hearts crew and what seems to be their best lineup yet for their sold-out five-year anniversary party. They’ve just unveiled their Spring 2018 lineup and it was well worth enduring the agonizing pain of anxiously awaiting the much-anticipated lineup.
While the music sustains the beating heart, the art and fan involvement interplay, on and off the dance floor, create a magical world ripe for fans to get lost in through the reservation. From the iconic stage production and lighting design to the countless immersive heart pieces to gallery and vendor row, the iconic Desert Hearts Fashion Show and, of course, the famed theme camps like Pile Palace and Savage Hearts, there are infinite ways for Desert Hearts fans to dive into the magic.
Desert Hearts head honcho Mikey Lion has also curated a “Road to Desert Hearts” playlist via Spotify to give attendees a taste of what’s to come. Fans who weren’t able to get tickets before the festival sold out can also enter to win two tickets by following the playlist and entering the contest here.
The lineup for Desert Hearts Festival 2018 acts as a collection of allies and tastes gathered throughout the crew’s journey playing some of the world’s best parties as of late as well as a showcase of some of Desert Hearts Records’ forthcoming stars. The Spring event will welcome the musical mystics of Crosstown Rebels icon and purveyor of global rave Damian Lazarus, Hot Creations mainstays wAFF and Nathan Barato, former Art Department member Kenny Glasgow, rising New York stalwart Serge Devant, London house maestro Matt Tolfrey, First Lady of Paradise Lauren Lane, perpetrators of the cosmic house sound Acid Mondays and the undisputed king of the 808, Egyptian Lover.
