Daniel Mora, better known by his massive underground hip-hop moniker Felmax, is a Venezuelan DJ and producer. Mora began his musical career when he moved from his homeland to Miami, Florida. His latest collaboration on “Atomic” with anonymous trap duo PURGE further diversifies the quickly rising producer’s sound.
“Atomic” begins with an eerie arpeggio that pulsates and finds its way back throughout the track. It hints at melbourne bounce elements, while heavily dominating trap influences ravage throughout. In addition to the slamming percussive elements, “Atomic” is flooded with deep brass stabs and tiny synths in the transitions that effortlessly turn the listeners’ ears towards an attention-grabbing bass house drop. This is one of the most atomic bass bomb releases I’ve heard this year.
