We came. We danced. We swam. This year’s Lightning in a Bottle went off without a hitch and the Do Lab once again pulled out all the stops for their flagship event. With this being my third LIB, this was by by far my favorite time out in the wondrous land that is Bradley, California. Now that the dust has settled and we’ve all been given the chance to do some laundry and get a grasp on all that went down during Memorial Day Weekend, we put together some of the top sets and photos from this year’s Lightning in a Bottle as we impatiently wait for next year’s fest.

Here are the top sets of Lightning in a Bottle 2018.

J. Worra

Worra opened up the Woogie stage on Friday and absolutely blew me away with her talent on the decks. With an irreplaceable vibe and non-stop heaters, the Dirtybird artist kicked off the first full day of music with a smile the entire time and infectious energy.

Desert Hearts Takeover

As the Desert Hearts crew took over the entire afternoon on Thursday between the Lightning and Thunder stages, the vibe and tempo was set early as Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs and Porky laid it down to perfection by the water. They had the whole crowd movin’ and groovin’ and as the day grew longer, so did the tunes.

Evan Casey

After destroying the dance floor and projecting us into the cosmos with his set at Desert Hearts, Mr. Casey followed it up with yet another astral-journey worthy set at LIB. Thursday was definitely the day for Desert Hearts as the DH crew took over during the day and Evan carried the vibe into the night at the groovy Favela Bar. Laying it down to perfection, Casey had emerged as a artist to watch and a force to be reckoned with on the decks.
