Chicago’s Birthdayy Partyy set loose their titillating version of Fergie’s 12-year-old R&B/swing single “London Bridge.” Birthdayy Partyy’s Bryan and Jon Gorecki have taken 2018 by storm, spinning at Spring Awakening Music Festival as well as EDC Las Vegas. Let’s not forget their print interview in DJ Times. The Gorecki brothers’ “London Bridge” overhaul restores my faith in bootleg reworks; it’s unpredictable, and that’s remarkably refreshing.

“We chose to remix ‘London Bridge’ because it has this really goofy horn part that we thought was just really fun,” said Birthdayy Partyy. “We’re also suckers for some good marching percussion, just like in our ‘Hollaback Girl’ remix. We also have a huge soft spot for really swaggy female vocals, and it doesn’t get more swaggy than Fergie.”
