“Falling Down,” a collaboration between late artists Lil Peep and XXXTentacion has just been officially released.

The track was co-written by Makonnen, who revealed that a song he wrote together with Lil Peep inspired XXXTentaction to add some verses of his own. After Peep’s death, X revealed that he was regretful about not spending more time with the artist. In the single, he can be heard saying, “It’s unfortunate, because it’s like yo, when people die, that’s when we like, you know? Because your remorse kind of makes you check them out.”

Both of the artist’s estates agreed to release the collaboration. Cleopatra Bernand, XXXTentacion’s mother, said the track is “from Peep’s mom and I.” Lil Peep’s mother, Liza Womack, spoke on behalf of her son’s death last year, and it was a heartbreaking, but touching event.

“Falling Down” is out now via Columbia Records. Sources say that an album full of unreleased material from Peep is on the way as well

Come let’s watch the rain as it’s falling down
Sunlight on your skin when I’m not around
Shit don’t feel the same when you’re out of town
Come let’s watch the rain as it’s falling down
