WHIPPED CREAM has been enjoying her success since the release of her Persistence EP in 2017. This year has seen her light up stages nationwide, including the main stage on major festivals, such HARD Summer, Shambhala and Electric Zoo, just to name a few. The LA-based producer wraps up the year in music with her latest single, “LUV,” via Big Beat Records.

The track is exactly what we have come to expect from the meteoric rising hip-hop influenced DJ/producer. It melds the elements of heavy bass and dark hip-hop, delivering infectious energy. It also arrives alongside with a video. The video is grungy and gritty, reinforcing this track’s dark and bizarre tone.

Reflecting on her creative process, Whipped Cream mentions that:

“I combined sounds and grooves from stuff I listened to when I first got into electronic music and put it all together into one piece of work. You think you know my sound? Think again. This piece is to leave my listener with questions and wanting more.”

Good music and a strong branding are the key factors to an artist’s success, and Whipped Cream has both. Stayed tuned for more surprises from her in 2019 but before that, listen to the track and catch a show near your city!
